Support Sarpy County Slugfest 2025
We're excited to have you join our efforts to help families in Sarpy County!
Slugfest 25 is underway and we need your support!
Event Details: Teams from across Sarpy County’s police, fire and courthouse as well as players from Offutt AFB will be competing to bring home the Slugfest Championship Traveling Trophy in this two-day softball tournament! The event is super fun with lots of competition!
The elimination games will be held on Saturday, June 28, 2025, at the Bellevue Lied Center Fields, 2700 Arboretum Dr., in Bellevue, with the Championship Game on Sunday, June 29 at Werner Park!
It will be a great weekend with affordable concessions, games, activities and raffles, so bring the whole family!
How you can help:
- Come to the event! Both days are filled with fun for the whole family and watching the Sarpy County teams battle it out is a blast. Enjoy some sunshine and concessions!
- Monetary donations: Non-restricted funds raised will be used to help us with our mission: To help people reach a place of well-being by connecting them to resources to fill their most basic needs. These needs may include shelter, food, transportation assistance, education, mental health services and child care. When we work together to help families in need overcome situations they face, we benefit as a community.
- Gift cards: If you are a business that would like to support these players, please consider a gift card or two for our raffle! We will be thrilled to promote your participation in our newsletter and on our social channels. (Please contact Lexi at asmith@liftupsarpycounty.org to arrange for pick up.)
- Amazon Wish List: Help us fulfill our Community Care Kits by providing items on our Amazon Wish List located at https://amzn.to/3DebHjc.
- Business promotions: If you are a business that would like to have a table at the event, you can make a donation of at least $250 and receive a table on Saturday, June 28 at the Bellevue Lied Center Fields. You can hand out samples, promotional flyers and connect face-to-face with your potential customers or even employees! Law enforcement, county employees, security forces from Offutt and their families will be in attendance and we know they would appreciate your support.
