Help Us Feed Families in Sarpy County
With more than 8,000 families losing their SNAP benefits during the government shutdown, we need your help more than ever
Our neighbors and their children who rely on SNAP to make food ends meet may go hungry during this federal government shutdown. As a result, Lift Up Sarpy, in partnership with our collaborative partners, is launching Serving Sarpy, an effort active now through the end of the year. Here’s how it works:
We are collaborating with churches and corporate sponsors to host a community meal every night through December 31st. A church or other collaborative partner will pick a night to sponsor and/or host a dinner.
We understand many won't be able to facilitate the cost for dinner for 100-300 families, but perhaps you can help us raise the funds needed to supply these dinners. We appreciate any and all contributions towards this effort.
